Inspired by the tactile works of Alberto Giacometti, the artist applies acrylic paint to the canvas, then removes it with a scratching technique that evokes movement and mood. Patrick St. Germain is a Montreal-based artist who works mostly with acrylic paint, resin, metallics and pastels. He describes his style of art as primarily abstract, textural and complex. "I love to explore the grandeur of nature by weaving abstraction and landscape into my own personal visual language."
