In "Vanishing Point," Montreal-based artist Ruby explores time and memory. "I was walking in summer, and I had a memory of walking the same trail in winter," she says. "I thought of the vanishing distance behind me as I continued walking forward." A hint of horizon, symbolized by a dark hue, holds the promise of the unknown. Originally painted with acrylic, gel medium and sand, the piece is faithfully reproduced and framed in wood certified sustainable by the Forest Stewardship Council ®. CB2 exclusive.
