Jeffrey Fitzgerald's artwork represents his life and time spent near the water's edge in his home state of Maine. His art celebrates the turmoil of the ebb and flow of life and the attempts to capture it on canvas. "After Mid Morning" begins with an abstract mix of muted yellows, bluish-greys and a pop of magenta. Closer inspection reveals images that begin to surface, and landscapes come together. "My work is gathering up, building, illustrating, conjuring and refuting. Though I have a passion for rocks, sea and sky, the subject is agile and developing," the artist explains. CB2 exclusive.
