Minimalist painting by Ksenia Sizaya is rooted in the artist's sketchbooks—a "rabbit hole," she says, of ideas yet to be painted. "Dzen" was created by applying plaster over a wood panel, then scraping it and dry-brushing white paint on top. The result is a piece with subtle texture and the spirit of possibility. CB2 exclusive.
